Tickets for Las Vegas’ official PGA TOUR event, Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospitals for Children Open, are on sale now. The weeklong charitable tournament kicks off on Sept. 25 at the masterfully designed TPC Summerlin, where guests escape into an oasis situated within the natural desert and surrounded by the Las Vegas skyline and Red Rock mountains.

Fans that are looking for a luxurious way to view the tournament can purchase coveted tickets on The Hill, a 22,000-square-foot pavilion overlooking the 16th, 17th, and 18th holes. In the past, ticket-holders have been provided fare from premium restaurants and cold beverages including wine and spirits while catching the tournament play. Guests will also enjoy comfortable seating and 50-inch, plasma-screen televisions for viewing other high action sports during the event.

Daily and weekly tickets for the 2011 tournament can be purchased by calling 702-589-4949. The following are the 2011 tournament ticket rates:

Daily grounds tickets:

  • Tickets purchased before July 1, 2011 – $15
  • Tickets purchase after July 1, 2011 – $20
  • Tickets purchased at the gate – $25

Weekly grounds tickets:

Saturday Night $20 Concert Series Back at Red Rock

Red Rock Resort is bringing back the popular Saturday night concert series, Party on the Rocks, now starting at 9 p.m. in the Rocks Lounge, $20 per person plus taxes and fees.The upcoming Party on the Rocks schedule features the following bands with many more great announcements to come:

mTournament Offers Public First-Time Access to Exclusive Golf Course

Tickets for the 10th Annual Michael Jordan Celebrity Invitational (MJCI), hosted by  ARIA Resort & Casino at Shadow Creek, are now on sale.  The premier celebrity golf event will make its Las Vegas debut March 31 – April 3, giving fans the opportunity to watch four days of competition with some of the biggest names in sports and entertainment.  This also marks the first time that Shadow Creek—one of the country’s most celebrated golf courses—will open its doors to the public.

Founded in 2001, the MJCI is one of celebrity golf’s most popular events sand has raised more than $5 million for charity. The four-day tournament and celebration, which boasts incredible parties, A-list entertainment and competitive golf, is recognized as one of the best events of its kind, having attracted sports legends including Wayne Gretzky, Charles Barkley, Mario Lemieux and Julius “Dr. J” Erving and entertainment personalities such as Mark Wahlberg, Samuel L. Jackson, Kurt Russell and Don Cheadle in years past.  This year’s event beneficiaries include the Make-A-Wish Foundation, the James R. Discounted tickets are available for military service members with valid identification, and Senior Citizens 65 years of age or older with valid ID; both groups will receive 25 percent off a daily or weekly general admission ticket.  Additionally, the tournament has created a special “Bring the Kids for Free” general admission ticket offer, which provides access to Shadow Creek for youth 16 years of age and younger when accompanied by a general admission ticketed adult (up to two children per paid adult). 

The MJCI two-person, 36-hole scramble format tournament begins Saturday, April 2 and includes only the competing celebrities.  The second and final round of the MJCI will be played Sunday, April 3.  Additional festivities and special events surrounding the Saturday and Sunday competition, as well as celebrity participants, will be announced in the near future.

The ONE Group launches “Magnum Mondays” Industry Appreciation Dinner Party


sSTK Las Vegas, the newest outpost of the female-friendly steakhouse from NY-based The ONE Group, welcomes the local Vegas industry with the launch of its weekly appreciation dinner party.

Titled “Magnum Mondays: Because Size Matters,” the venue offers guests a magnum-sized bottle of Veuve Clicquot Champagne for each regular-sized bottle order placed. Chef Jet Teams up with Fukuburger to Announce Las Vegas' First Pop Up Dinner

jNationally renowned Pan-Asian Chef jumps on the Fuku Truck

Chef Jet Tila and the brains behind Fukuburger, Robert "Mags" Magsalin and Colin Fukunaga, partner to bring Sin City its first pop up dinner - food truck style.  Revelers and culinarians can look forward to the "Chef Jet Asian Street Food Pop Up" set to take place on Sunday, December 19.  Also along for the ride, Herbs & Rye will host the mobile foodie event in the restaurant's parking lot and provide both the libations and a warm place to enjoy the street eats (3713 West Sahara Avenue).

Tila's Asian street food menu consists of 3 dishes; Monkey Curry, Thai mi up "Banh Mi" and Okinawan Chicken and Waffles. All items are available for purchase at $6 each, with $1 of every sale going directly to benefit local charities.    

The collaboration came about after Tila discovered the Fuku Truck while writing for Las Vegas Weekly. "It's going to be a first for Las Vegas, but definitely not the last," says Tila. "We plan on doing themed pop up dinners every few weeks and will invite other local chefs and food personalities to participate."  

Fukuburger Truck made its debut on the Las Vegas gourmet food truck scene in July of 2010 and features classic American burgers with a unique Japanese twist.  The collaboration with Tila promises to be a night of highly entertaining umami.
