One of the funniest comedians in show business, George Wallace, who has been selling out comedy clubs and concert venues all over the world, is back performing in Las Vegas. He started his new residency show at the intimate Westgate Cabaret at Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino on June 26. “I’m very happy to return to Las Vegas on a regular basis,” said George Wallace. “Time away from the city the last few years has provided me with plenty of new material and experiences to add into the show. I’m looking forward to performing in an intimate venue and thrilled to be part of the Westgate family.”

At all costs, Wallace avoids standard opening lines and is known to be an ace at reading an audience. Among other comics, Wallace is known as “the guy who can roll the room over if it’s dead.
It was a packed house at the VIP Grand Opening on July 17 and the new Mr. Vegas was in top form, livening up the room with his quick and clever wit. In fact, the funnyman had the audience roaring with laughter from the moment he came on stage. Whatever subject that comes to mind, no-one is better at finding humor in everything including world events, relationships, rappers and their “crazy names”, going to church, preachers, TV ads, what he calls “wordology”, as in the stupid use of words, and even hemorrhoids. Yet, he never stoops to vulgarity or uses foul language, which is rare these days, when listening to most stand up comedians, who somehow feel the need to push the envelope to the extreme and get down and dirty. And, although he said he didn't want to discuss politics or Republicans, when someone in the audience yelled out Donald Trump, George couldn't hold back and ran with it, poking fun at the President, but not as to go over the line.

George Wallace makes it clear, “It is all about laughter”, and he is a master at delivering the goods. The only complaint you may hear upon leaving his show, is that faces were hurting from laughing so hard.
On a footnote, during the Grand Opening performance, actress/singer Pia Zadora came on stage and presented George with a custom made birthday cake in his favorite colors of blue and green. Long time friend, singer Earl Turner, who performs with Clint Holmes in their show "Soundtrack" at the Westgate, was also in attendance, and later shared a moment on stage with George.
