FANTASY Celebrates 20th Anniversary at Luxor Hotel and Casino with the Debut of 2020 Calender

The stunning ladies of FANTASY, the award-winning adult revue at the Luxor Hotel and Casino, celebrated its milestone 20th anniversary and the debut of the show’s 2020 calendar, “2020: Vision of Beauty” on Tuesday night, October 15.

In honor of the occasion, the traditional red carpet was swapped for celebratory gold. The showgirls dazzled in pink gowns as they posed for photographers and showed off their calendar pages. Also walking the red carpet were producer and choreographer Anita Mann, Emmy-award winning producer and director Louis J Horvitz, comedian Carrot Top, the cast of “FRIENDS! The Musical Parody” and the cast of Thunder From Down Under, and former singers and dancers of FANTASY who posed for photos with the current cast members.

A preshow reception was held in the Velvet Room where guests sipped on signature cocktails served in gold glasses, enjoyed hors d'oeuvres and mingled with the cast. Afterwards guests entered the Atrium Showroom were Luxor President & COO Cliff Atkinson welcomed everyone and introduced Mann, who shared her personal journey with the show. Following Mann’s remarks, a video highlighting the history of FANTASY was shown and the night continued with a special celebration performance of FANTASY. Host and lead singer, Lorena Peril, impressed the audience with her powerhouse vocals, while the lone male member of the cast, comedian Sean E Cooper kept the audience laughing. During the finale number, “Can’t Stop the Feeling,” all former performers were invited on stage to celebrate the anniversary.

With the release of the calendar, FANTASY will be donating a portion of the proceeds to Opportunity Village, which serves adults in Southern Nevada with intellectual and related disabilities. Opportunity Village helps adults develop job skills, obtain long-term work experience, gain independence and increase self-esteem while broadening their community and social interactions.

FANTASY’s “2020: Vision of Beauty” calendar is priced at $20, including tax, and is available for purchase at various retail locations throughout Luxor, including the Atrium Showroom, and on FANTASY’s website

The Bronx Wanderers Celebrate 1000th show in Las Vegas

The Bronx Wanderers celebrated their 1000th performance in Las Vegas on Thursday, October 10 at the LINQ Hotel & Casino. It marked another milestone for the extremely talented musicians fronted by the charismatic, Bronx born, former chart topping record producer, Vinny Adinolfi, whose dream of headlining on the Las Vegas strip became a reality just three years ago.

When I first saw the band perform at Bally's in 2016, I gave them a much deserved rave review. Now, appearing at another venue, in a larger room, they have only gotten better, proving they are, without a doubt,  one of the best shows in Las Vegas, by continually delivering a high energy, enjoyable show that will have you coming back over and over again.

Vinny Sr. is the leader of the pack, but it is truly a family affair. Joining him on stage are his two sons, the multi-talented, Vinny “Vin. A” Adinolfi lll, who sings, arranges and plays keyboard and guitar, and drummer extraordinaire, Nicky, along with their extended “family”, an amazing back up band that includes Joe Bari, Fernando Tort and David Braun. The solid group perform an evening of outstanding covers of songs from the early 60's to the present including hits by Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons and Dion to Queen and Bruno Mars that will have you singing along and getting up to dance at your seat or even in the aisle.

Besides great vocals and showmanship, what separates The Bronx Wanderers from other tribute or cover bands is their incredible connection with their audience. When Vinny Sr. shares his background story from humble beginnings in the Bronx to his rise as a successful Las Vegas entertainer, his warm, genuine, and thoroughly likable manner hits a touching chord with everyone. With all they have going for them, it's no wonder that The Bronx Wanderers have built a huge fan base throughout the country that is continually growing.

Their love for their music is infectious and their talent is undeniable. I've said it before and I will say it again; for a spectacular, unforgettable show, put The Bronx Wanderers on your must see list.

The Bronx Wanderers perform at the LINQ Hotel & Casino, Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays at 9 p.m., Wednesdays and Thursdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 4 p.m. and are dark on Saturdays. Tickets ranging in price from $59.99 to $109 are on sale now and may be purchased online in person at any Las Vegas Caesars Entertainment Box Office.
