After receiving news that the first four shows of his first Las Vegas residency at The STRAT sold out in under two hours (Oct. 29, Oct. 30, Nov. 5 and Nov. 6. -- he has since added two more shows on November 12 and November 13), Rock & Roll Hall of Famer and spirits entrepreneur Sammy Hagar wowed fans at the Nightclub & Bar Show when he unveiled plans for Sammy’s Beach Bar Cocktail Co. In addition to introducing his first ready-to-drink product line, Hagar showcased Santo Spirits, his wildly popular tequila and mezquila portfolio with Guy Fieri, and his award-winning Beach Bar Rum, a partnership with Grammy winner, Rick Springfield, who joined him at the event. Afterwards, Hagar and Springfield headed to the Strip for happy hour at Cabo Wabo Cantina at Miracle Mile Shops, where they poured shots and posed for more photos.

Hagar also engaged in a rare armchair conversation and Q&A with fans in which he shared his spirits expertise and story behind his foray into the industry nearly two decades ago with the legendary creation of Cabo Wabo Tequila. Hagar’s residency, called Sammy & Friends, kicks off in late October at The STRAT where he will roll out Sammy’s Beach Bar Cocktail Co.’s sparkling rum cocktails, made with all-natural ingredients, early fall. Served in a can, they will debut in four refreshing flavors: Tangerine Dream, Pineapple Splash, Island Pop and Cherry Kola Chill. For his residency, Hagar will bring together a legendary circle of friends and bandmates, past and present, to the intimate 800-capacity STRAT Theater, including 300 GA floor tickets for a party vibe in front of the stage.

The internationally acclaimed production, “WOW – The Vegas Spectacular,” will make its return to the Rio Showroom at Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas on Tuesday, August 10. The production will feature many of its favorite performers as well as all-new acts that will thrill audiences nightly. Prior to the pandemic shut down, “WOW” had received numerous awards including the prestigious “Best of Las Vegas” awards as Best Value Show (Gold), Best Family Friendly Show (Silver), Best New Act/Show (Bronze) and Best Production Show (Bronze). Many of the thrilling and hilarious numbers familiar to audiences will return including comedian Alex Traisci, along with brand new acts including NAVAS and their “Wheel of Death” (Gold Medalists at the Monte Carlo Festival); the breathtaking Adagio act “Duo Ice;” the gravity-defying hand-to-hand act “Acrodream;” “Rialcris,” the trio of muscle men recently featured on America’s Got Talent; the aerial duo “Luna Girls,” a mind-blowing Icarian act, and the juggling talents of Paul Ponce, the son of former “WOW” stars Silvia Silvia and Victor Ponce, who are now starring in “EXTRAVAGANZA” at Bally’s Las Vegas.

Global music superstar Keith Urban has announced five new performance dates for “Keith Urban Live – Las Vegas” at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace. The shows will be Sept. 17 – 25, 2021.

27 – A Musical Adventure first debuted at L.A.’s legendary Troubadour on March 10, 2020, to a standing room only crowd of more than 400 that danced and cheered for more than two hours as top tribute artists and studio musicians brought the legends of rock back to life. Now at the Virgin Hotels, the show, narrated by actor and television personality John O’Hurley, is produced by Ramy El-Batrawi and co-written by Batrawi and James D’Alessandro. Musical Director Erik Himel and vocal coach to the stars, Roger Love as Vocal Director, round out the team.

Coming off his hugely successful outdoor run, the Hot Summer Nights Tour 2020, as the first-ever stand-up comedian to embark on a drive-in comedy tour, renowned comedian, podcast host and author Bert Kreischer will bring The Berty Boy Relapse Tour to Park Theater at Park MGM in Las Vegas Saturday, Sept. 25. The show is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.

The boundary-breaking hologram concert spectacle, AN EVENING WITH WHITNEY: THE WHITNEY HOUSTON HOLOGRAM CONCERT, featuring the voice of one of the world’s greatest entertainers virtually performing with a live band, backup singers, and dancers while being surrounded by cinematic special effects, will make its North American debut with an extended residency at Harrah's Las Vegas starting Oct. 26, 2021. Some of the numbers will include digitally remastered arrangements of Whitney’s biggest hits and fan favorites, including “I Will Always Love You,” “I Wanna Dance with Somebody (Who Loves Me),” “The Greatest Love of All” and an on-your-feet cover of Steve Winwood’s “Higher Love.”

International pop band 98 Degrees is scheduled to make their return to the stage this summer and will perform Thursday, Sept. 16 at the Mandalay Bay Beach as part of Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino’s 2021 Concerts on the Beach Series. The show is scheduled to begin at 9 p.m. One of the best-selling boy bands of the ‘90s, the group features Jeff Timmons, brothers Nick and Drew Lachey, and Justin Jeffre. Inspired to get back together during the pandemic, the band is scheduled to make their return to the stage in August as they begin their “98 Days of Summer” campaign. In anticipation of their return, the guys recently released their new single and video “Where Do You Wanna Go,” the group’s first in eight years.

The Backstreet Boys, one of the best-selling bands of all time, are returning to the Las Vegas Strip with “A Very Backstreet Christmas Party,” a series of 12 holiday shows at Zappos Theater inside Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino this November and December. The festive Las Vegas performances will mark the group’s first ever holiday shows, filled with classic holiday favorites, new originals and their biggest hits. Show dates will be November 11, 12, 13, 14, 18, 20, 21 and December 16, 18, 19, 22, 23.

Trumpeter and singer Brian Newman will bring his late-night show Brian Newman: AFTER DARK, back to NoMad Las Vegas for six performances this summer. Newman will perform at the NoMad Library August 12 – 14 and August 19 – 21 with all shows scheduled to begin at 11:30 p.m. Previously serving as the bandleader for the LADY GAGA JAZZ & PIANO resident show at Park Theater, Newman designed Brian Newman: AFTER DARK as an ode to vintage Las Vegas, creating a late-night rendezvous filled with great music and good friends.

Multi-talented entertainer, two-time Emmy Award winner, and 11-time nominee for Best Choreography Derek Hough is taking the stage at The Venetian® Resort this fall with his new show, Derek Hough: No Limit, beginning Wednesday, Sept. 22, 2021. This new show is the first production announced to take the stage in The Summit Showroom, the newly renamed performance venue at The Venetian Resort. Due to unforeseen circumstances, Bruno Mars has postponed his Friday, July 23 and Saturday, July 24 performances at Park Theater. The rescheduled dates are Friday, Aug. 27 and Saturday, Aug. 28. Previously purchased tickets will be honored for the rescheduled dates with no action needed. Should ticket purchasers not be able to attend, a refund can be requested until August 13, 2021. Resorts World Las Vegas announced it will debut the first and only pop-up shop of Kardashian Kloset, the Kardashian-Jenner e-commerce retail resale site. Cirque du Soleil is thrilled to confirm The Beatles LOVE, a Cirque du Soleil creation and co-production with Apple Corps Ltd., will reopen at The Mirage on Aug. 26, 2021. The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas and The WhiskyX will bring an evening of elevated whisky tastings, live musical performances, award-winning restaurants and more to The Boulevard Pool on Saturday, Oct. 23, 2021. GRAMMY award-winning singer-songwriter Bryan Adams will make his Wynn Las Vegas debut this fall as he takes the stage at Encore Theater for his only tour stop in the United States. Adams will present his celebrated songs with six shows taking place on select nights from Nov. 10-20, 2021.

Legendary GRAMMY Award-winner Van Morrison has announced a three-night run of shows at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace February 18, 19 and 20, 2022.

RuPaul’s Drag Race Live!, “the most sickening eleganza extravaganza in Las Vegas herstory,” returned to the stage at Flamingo Las Vegas on Aug. 5, 2021. From the creative team behind the Emmy® Award-winning series RuPaul’s Drag Race, the critically acclaimed Las Vegas revue is everything you love about the TV show and then some. With over-the-top costumes, visually stunning sets and jaw-dropping performances, RuPaul’s Drag Race Live! serves the audience a drag experience like they’ve never seen before. Comedy magician Mac King has painted the town plaid with the recent opening of his family-friendly show at the Excalibur. The Beatles™ LOVE™ by Cirque du Soleil will make its grand return to The Mirage Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas on Aug. 26, 2021. The iconic show is also celebrating its 15th anniversary.

Every weekend in August, the iconic Drai’s Beachclub • Nightclub will host spectacular parties with must-see Drai’s LIVE performances by big-name artists like 2 Chainz, Rae Sremmurd and Gucci Mane, to name a few. Aaron Carter is no stranger to taking his clothes off, so much so that the 33-year-old former child is going to go “the full Monty” in person. He’s joining the Las Vegas production of “Naked Boys Singing!,” a campy 60-minute gay musical revue in which the all-male cast perform in their birthday suits. “I think the naked body is a beautiful thing,” says Carter, who identifies as bisexual. “We were all born naked.” Carter’s run in “Naked Boys,” which is produced by Tom D’Angora and Nick Padgett, run begins Sept. 8 at the Jewel Box Theatre.

A longtime Las Vegas icon for live music and craft cocktails, The Sand Dollar Lounge will open a second location inside the Plaza Hotel & Casino this fall, bringing to downtown Las Vegas a venue dedicated to late-night live music and entertainment.

Las Vegas Philharmonic (LVP) and Music Director Donato Cabrera recently announced the 2021-22 concert season, and a return to Reynolds Hall at The Smith Center for the Performing Arts. The 23rd season for the LVP will include seven beautifully curated performances from Nov. 20, 2021 through May 7, 2022. Cabrera has selected a season full of dynamic works including all of Beethoven’s Symphonies interwoven with contemporary works by female composers including Anna Clyne, Gabriela Lena Frank, Missy Mazzoli, Jessie Montgomery and Carolyn Shaw. A special Very Vegas Holiday performance will welcome back local entertainers including Composers Showcase founder Keith Thompson and vocal illuminati including Travis Cloer and Clint Holmes along with Michelle Johnson and Vita Corimbi. Cabrera will also conduct a world premiere by composer Juan Pablo Contreras as part of a special commission in partnership with New Music USA.

FlyOver in Las Vegas, the new immersive flight ride from leading hospitality company Pursuit, will officially take off on the Las Vegas Strip Sept. 1. Tickets are now on sale for the attraction at flyoverlasvegas.com, which will take guests on a multi-sensory journey as they soar over 22 of the American West’s most spectacular destinations, from the plunging river valleys of the Grand Canyon to the volcanic peaks of Oregon’s Cascade Volcanic Arc. September’s NASCAR Weekend in Las Vegas will run with no capacity restrictions, Las Vegas Motor Speedway (LVMS) officials recently announced. In accordance with the decision by the state of Nevada and Clark County to lift all restrictions that went into effect June 1, LVMS plans to have all seats available for the September 23-26 weekend that is headlined by the South Point 400. The four-day weekend kicks off on Sept. 23 with the Star Nursery 150 ARCA Menards Series West event at the Bullring. The action shifts to the superspeedway on Sept. 24 for the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series event followed by the Alsco 302 NASCAR Xfinity Series race on Sept. 25. The weekend concludes with the fourth annual South Point 400 on Sept. 26.

Arizona Charlie’s, located at 740 S. Decatur Blvd., will bring live entertainment back to the Naughty Ladies Saloon stage with a performance by popular Eagles tribute band, American Eagle USA, at 8 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 7. American Eagle USA will pay tribute to the award-winning rock band by playing every classic song including “Take it Easy,” “Lyin’ Eyes,” “One of These Nights,” “Life in the Fast Lane,” “Hotel California,” and more. The cover band features musicians who have played alongside artists including John Paul Jones of Led Zepplin, The WHO, The Righteous Brothers and others.

WAY OFF THE STRIP

Edgewater Casino Resort’s E Center, located at 2020 S. Casino Drive, will host entertainment icon Tanya Tucker for a performance at the E Center, one of Laughlin’s premier live entertainment and special event venues. The two-time GRAMMY® Award-winner and “first female country outlaw” is scheduled to take the stage at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 4.

The Laughlin Event Center continues to add to its star-studded, rocking concert schedule of performances. Roger Daltrey with special guests Billy Idol and Steve Stevens (acoustic) are set to take the stage on Saturday, Sept. 11, followed by award-winning entertainer Kid Rock on Saturday, Oct. 16. Edgewater Casino Resort’s E Center will host GRAMMY Award winner Dwight Yoakam on Saturday, Nov. 6. The performers add to Laughlin Event Center’s and E Center’s impressive lineup of recently announced entertainment, including Miranda Lambert (Sept. 4), Lynyrd Skynyrd and Joan Jett and The Blackhearts (Oct. 2), Toby Keith (Oct. 23) and many more .
